Can fish or bugs besides turtles be placed like furniture?

I love that turtles can just sit outside or in your house without a container! I was wondering if any others could do that as well? I imagine the turtle is the only one but I am really hoping that frogs could do this too because??? frogs. I am interested if there are any others though! I know that there is a hamster cage and the decoy duck, but I am specifically interested in the bugs and fish that you catch yourself.
