Can fertilizer use at beach?

So I trying the method everyone saying about breed hybrids at beach. I then cut down all my palm tree and put my hybrids there nicely arrange, and one fertilizer. But after I TT a day (for another reason) I notice the fertilizer crack still there and no new hybrids at all, I do water the hybrids I want to breed but I wonder is it fertilizer only works on land?

I use fertilizer on my beach all the time and it works I don't TT, so can't help you out there. Not sure why the crack would still be there. That's odd.

Ohhh must be because I TT backwards to last Sat =DD should be alright now^^ I tt-ed backwards for K.K song but too bad doesn't work out but I learn alot of things!! ty for answering =DD
