Can anyone tell me how to make a picture a link

I've never gotten around to asking this until now but I've always wondered how people make pictures/icons clickable
And how they spell something that is also a clickable link?

Whatever you want clickable, put "[ URL=(insert link here) ]" in front of it and put "[ /URL ]" behind it (without the spaces).
