can anyone help me start off with cycling?

i made an attempt with cycling awhile ago but failed. i havent been playing acnl in awhile so i might as well make some tbt off of cycling out villagers and selling them. i sort of get the concept of cycling but im not sure how to start it off - if anyone could guide me through it, it would be much appreciated

i wasnt able to get any villagers to ping and start me off with the cycling

One thing is that you have to keep talking to them, because if a week goes by without you talking to them , they wont ping you.

Ahhh, yes. That is where I struggled too :> Hmm, trying to remember if I had to do anything to get them to ping me...
