Can all of Redd’s art be fake?

Redd is on my island today so I used an art guide to see what is real, but it seems all of them are fake? I’ve thoroughly looked at them about 2 to 3 times just in case, but it’s quite obvious they’re not right. I know you can have multiple pieces that are legit, but is it possible for them all to be fake?

Well one time, all the art displayed in Redd’s boat was fake and the other time 2 was real and the rest was fake. So it’s possible that art all can be fake when he visits.

There is a very simple trick to change his catalog, but it would require TT. You don't need to change the date, just the time.

• Without changing the date, only change your clock to 4:58am (or earlier, as long as it's not yet 5am).
• Wait until 5am so a new day starts and Isabelle announce things. While it is still considered a new day, the date is still technically the same so Redd is still there, but his art should change.
• Repeat to farm Redd's art.
• Once you're done, you can change the clock to the current time. Same applies to Saharah, Kicks and Lief if you want to change their stock. Same can also be applied to CJ & Flick if you want to submit critters for models.

Yes. Since every time the clock reaches 5am, it is considered a new day. So the painting you bought will be on your mail and you can buy again from Redd. You can do this infinitely.

The first time Redd showed up on his boat for me, all of his artwork was fake. Yesterday, I had three legitimate pieces of artwork. It's unfortunate when the random number generators aren't on your side, though it can also be pretty nice if you have any interest in the "haunted" fake paintings that can move depending on what time of day it is.

Best wishes for Redd to have some authentic artwork next time he visits your island, or that you find one of those cool haunted paintings if you're into those.

I once had 1 real and 3 fakes. A Villager sent me a 2nd Real the next day.

I like the fake art. I also don’t like to look it up I like to see if I can find the fakes on my own to me its fun and if it turns out to be fake then I decorate my island with it. But I can see it being frustrating if you just want to fill out your museum he doesn’t come very often.
