Can a plot go here?

I had all 10 villagers plots picked out in my town, but after Molly moved in I noticed that this area should fit a villager based on space, but I'm still not 100% sure. Looking for reassurance I guess. Kind of want to try and get a villager here since I would give me two villagers on both sides of my house.



Also, if a villager can go here...should I place the villager here before or after building a bridge nearby? If the villager is going to affect a future bridge then I need to wait to put them here.

Here is my map for reference. This bend in the river is the last one before heading down to the waterfall. The bridge is going to go right where that villager house is on the right side of the river.

I think the villager house may fit, but the bridge will never go there as long as the villager on the other side of the river is there.

I'm 90% sure a villager can fit, but I think you're SOL with the bridge.
The villagers next to me are situated similarly to that, but I'm not sure on if they'd be too close to the water.
