Campsite

I am wondering whether people can come over to your town and get people from your campsite? Or is it just you that can pick them up? Thank you!

Only you can get villagers from your own campsite.Some people still claim that it's possible but I've tried to get campers from my other town with a different mayor and it just doesn't work.The camping villager never brings up the "moving dialogue"(i.e."this town is great..maybe I should move here...").
