Campsite VS Random Island

So I'm villager hunting for my 2nd island and I've invited the one I want into my campsite.

My question is, what chance do you think I've got to find them on a random island?

I'd rather them move in today than wait for it to autofill, and then move them in via the campsite method...

What's your villager?
It picks a species, then a villager from that species when you island hop so we can actually work our the odds per island of finding them

You can’t find the same villager on an island if they are already at your campsite. If they aren’t currently at your campsite, then the chance of finding them depends on which species they are. The game first rolls for species and then picks a villager in that species, so finding a specific cat or rabbit is a lot harder than finding an octopus.

Really? I didn't know that! It's Coco I'm looking for, do you need to know who I've seen, cause I can remember the last 4, Bianca, Bangle, Ava and Cyrano I think Diva might have been between Bianca and Bangle but I'm not 100% on that

Assuming you don't have a rabbit on your island or in your campsite it's a 0.14% chance per island of finding coco

Wow that's a pretty small chance, probably just be easier for me to campsite her in :'D
