I have a campsite villager that wants to move in. Wants to replace the wrong villager. I complained to resident services, saved and came back but he asked for the same one.
Unfortunately, I don't think there's much you can do if the auto-save kicked in. The villager they choose to replace is completely random and is determined when you ask them to move in. Only way to change it is close out of the software before it can save.
ah yeah for future reference make sure if they choose a villager u don't want to leave then quickly exit the game before saving and they will choose randomly again
