I've been campsite resetting for half hour and Ive had one camper ...... At least with plot reseting you see the plot moving this is just bitter dissapointment each time I get my hopes up and each time my hopes and dreams are shattered.....

I'm kinda in the same situation now except I'm repeating the process of creating a character and deleting them to unlock katrina's shop and I'm trying to think of ways to make it less tedious for me but it's just tiring.....

I'm starting to hate Rover (I don't like cats much anyway) but this guy.... I just want to tell him to go and never come back it would make it faster....

This is why I've never bothered with campsite resetting lol.

Try moving the day forward if you're not having much luck, supposedly some days you're more likely to get campers than others.

I've gotten quite a few villagers doing it, but I don't have much patience for it any more. I always end up saying, "I'm going to keep doing it until I see a camper, then I'm going to stop." Then I see a camper and say, "Didn't like that one, so I'll keep going until I get another one!" ad infinitum.

I never bother with any resetting. It's infinitely easier to be fluid and fix what they break.

That's what I'm doing I want at least a their 3 preferable higher I want to help someone get their dreamie!! But so far I've now had 2 their 5 and my their 3 was Felicity and well I don't want cats haha!!

Yay two in a row and the second one was phoebe she will do nicely :)

it's easiest to campsite reset if you know the exact date the campsite was completed. the day after it is completed with the ceremony and everything, there is always a camper.

That's.... smart :o I guess we could check the town's bulletin board for that?

only if it was recent enough. if you can, sit at your town tree's base and it'll come up eventually. you'll want to be careful. tt'ing back x days counts as one but tt'ing foward x days count as x, where x is any number greater than or equal to 1. if my campsite was built on march 2, 2014, then i'd tt to march 3, 2014 but if i want to get back to today, i'd have to tt day by day or week by week, whichever you'd prefer.

Or you could simply TT day by day until a villager pings to move and then deny it. After that, you're safe to TT back to your current date with no move outs.

I applaud those who campsite reset. I tried it and raged quit.

It was much easier to use my 2nd copy to make a new town and use that personality move in reset method.

I can see campsite resetting in my near future. I reset my town, spent hours finding a layout, and now i'm going through plot resetting the new move-ins to make sure they move somewhere generally agreeable to my plans (and making sure the random in doesn't completely suck). But I have a villager where I want my camp, so once I get 10, he's gonna be the first to go and then I'll build my camp and be resetting to find someone I like for my tenth. Not looking forward to it. The results are worth it, but the actual time-sink involved is such a pain.

I camp reset when I have 9 villagers. I've done it for 3 days straight before I found Lucky in my camp and that was the last time I made any real effort to do it. I'm constantly looking for Scoot by camp resetting. I found that watching something while I do it always helps, even if it's a day where I'm not lucky with a lot of villagers.

Yeah I'm cycling to get my frogs back, and don't really want random villagers I got rod via street pass when I went to i-series but now I want to pick who I get it makes me sad when nobody want to adopt them when they leave no on deserves the void...

camp resetting is a pain in the butt. * ^*
i hate doing it so much!
i remember doing it once for 4+ hours before i finally got ankha and was like, "whatever. this works." lol

i heard if you don't get anyone within the first 15 resets it's not worth doing and to switch to the next day to try again.

I think they are probably both equally as frustrating. Nobody likes to sit around for hours just wasting time. (I'm going to be plot resetting this morning and SO not looking forward to it).
