Campsite Question

One of my villagers moved out, and there's someone in my campsite today. I talked to her and she mentioned something about moving in permanently. Last night, I was talking to someone who had my favourite villager moving out of their town and they offered to give her to me. Of course, I said yes, and I'll be visiting their town later today to talk to the villager. Now I'm scared that the villager in my campsite will move in, but will it be okay as long as I visit that person's town and convince my favourite villager to move in? Because Timbra is not ruining my chance to get Rosie. I'll end up hating her if she does.

The thing is, villagers in campsites don't always move in, so the other request your about to make should override the request from the campsite. I think that's how it goes.

Did you accept Timbra when she gave you the option? They only move in if you say yes, and if you get Rosie today then you probably will get Rosie instead.

There were no options for yes or no, she only mentioned it. So I should be fine?

If she's only mentioned it and you haven't told her yes or no then you should be fine. c:
