Hi everyone.

I am looking forward to building my campsite. However, I do not know where to place it on my town layout.

I would really love to know any of your ideas! Where did you place yours?

Thank you.

I try to put the campsite in a more remote part of town, away from the villager's houses if possible. On your map,I'd suggest that open area below the town hall near the river or that area on the other side of your town near the beach below and to the right of Re-tail.

I always place my campsites in the north of my town because I like putting cedars around it. Makes it look more campy.

Now for you, I circled 3 spots I think you can probably place the campsite

This is a lot like my map, except my river is higher on the left and doesn't swing back up on the right so my second beach isn't private, the RV entrance is a bit lower. But town hall/Re-Tail/plaza are in the same spot. I put my campground just north of the river on the left side of the map.

I like the idea of the campsite being on the right of the map near the waterfall. But I think I will put the campsite on the left of the map to make a secluded, forest-like campground.

Thank you Nunnafinga, HappyTails, and stiney for your opinions! :)

Ooh, I 100% agree with these spots. I’d like the middle option a little more if the bridge wasn’t there, that way it’s more secluded. Plus, it allows you to block off the neighbors above it with trees. However, I think the far left and far right options are the best ones to pick from because they’re more separated from neighbors. :>

I’d like it if you put the campsite beside some cedars or regular trees so it gives a feel that it is a campsite.

If I had known how ugly and useless it was going to be, and that it couldn't be demolished, I would never have built the eyesore.

One of my biggest in game regrets.

I didnt built the campsite in my town this time since i find i pretty bad-looking and I have no use or place for it anyway. I got my favourite villagers and the only spaces where I could have placed the campsite are either taken by villagers or planned for future pwps. so yeah. no campsite for me :D

Honestly I never built the campsite in my current town. I find it unpleasant to look at, and there weren't even any good spots for it.

Also just to clarify, are those house locations supposed to be permanent, or do you plan on moving new villagers in? If yes, where do you want the new houses to be?

Hi MapleSilver!

Yeah I was contemplating whether I should get the campsite because I do not want all my current villagers. I am planning to move out the two villagers north of the river, as well as 2 villagers in the south of town. :)

Well, think of it this way: yes, it's unpleasant to look at when no one is camping, but often you'll have it out of the way anyways and it IS the only way to get certain items legitimately, without buying them from others if you don't go that route. Another way to look at it is the Campsite is essentially an 11th villager you can talk to throughout the day.
