Hello everybody!

I'm about to decide where to put my camping site, but I just can't decide.
Over time I've resetted my game SO many times, because every time I wouldn't really be happy with where my house/camping site/caf? was.

How do you guys decide where to put these things? Specifically this camping site... Do you place it in a corner? Near the river? WHAT DO I DO.

Help.

edit: Here's my town map!

Some people place it around a little pond and then plant cedar saplings around it so that it has a foresty vibe (this must be done on the northern half of your town; otherwise, it doesn't work because the saplings die). I placed it near the cliff because all I wanted is for it not to be in the middle when I walked around, lmao. But I think it turned out just fine, because I recently landscaped the area and I planted trees and flowers around it, so I like the result.

Either way, since it's a non-demolishable PWP, I think it'd be better if it weren't in the way when you're walking around, but at the same time it'd be better too if it were close to you in case you want to do the campsite reset and that sort of stuff.

I put mine right up near my tracks as that's where all of my other buildings are, I like how nice and organized it looks. =]

My river turns in a backwards C shape and I put my campsite right in the middle of the curve. I don't have any bridges that close so it isn't in the way of paths and it creates a nice little space to decorate around.

I would put it in the top right part of the map, just put a path if you want and some trees around it and it's like a in real life campground! c:

Top left looks good to me! Right next to the bridge and ocean is where I would. Either that or in a big space to put ceder saplings around and bushes to make it look like a proper camp.

It bothers me so much when the little house icons overlap with the edges or rivers, so personally I'd put it somewhere top right I suppose.

Yeah... I had that spot in mind too, BUT there is a rock there so that might screw up decorating plans.

I was thinking that spot or maybe this other spot.... marked in a red X below c:

EDIT: I'm thinking I could put the camping place in the top right corner, and then later on place the caf? where the other X is?
What do you all think?

I'd go for top right too. It gives something on the top right on town, it has lots of empty space for cedar tress and is out of the way.

I put it on the top right of my map, near the rivere, the cliff and the water fall ! So, it would be like living an adventure ! I just love this idea ! So, I think you should put it in a place far from the city center, and plant around it flowers trees and campsite public work projets. You will be happy of this placement, I am sure. ~Good luck.

I sometimes wish I could change my campsite location, though it isn't that bad. It's in front of the town hall (you can see it if you dream my town) and it initially looked horrid, though I made it work. It shows that you can work with crappy locations of things you can't change, haha.

Personally I like whenever people make a little campsite area (with cedar saplings, a fire pit, stuff like that) or if it's right by the train station because it makes sense for a campsite to be there lol. It also looks nice in front of the waterfall.

that sounds like a good idea, but for me personally i would probably switch it around. i would put the cafe in the top left corner, and the campsite near where the house is.

but i realize you'd probably have to wait for that villager to move out in order to place the campsite, so your idea would honestly work out better.

good luck!

i really like picturing myself leaving a tent to see a river and water fall so i tend to put it near there c: !
