Campsite [Open slots but he does not want to move?]

Hey everyone ; A ;
I hope that I post this in the right part of the forum, I'm quite stressed since this is regarding one of my dream villagers.

Anyway, today I went to my campsite and I was suprised to see my dreamvillager Julian being there. At the moment I have 8 villagers and 1 that will move in tomorrow morning.
I've been talking to Julian for almost an hour with both my mayor, and my boyfriends (He have 8 villagers in his town at tht moment) to see if Julian might want to move in there temporary. But during this time he have not even mentioned moving here even once. ; ^ ;

Both of our village have open slots but is there some kind of problem because I have a villager that will move in tomorrow? ; n ; I don't want to lose him since I've been looking for him for such a long time....

Your boyfriend will be highly unlikely to invite in Julian as it is almost impossible to get a villager from another person's campsite, but as for you, you should be able to as the plot would be your 9th villager and you'd have space for a 10th. Just keep talking to him. Try emptying your pockets of everything, including bells, and keep talking to him. It might take a while.

If someone is moving in tomorrow, you could talk to them until you turn blue, and they still wouldn't move.

Yes, unfortatenly. Nothing you can do if the plot space is already there. T^T. You still have a chance, though. Rarely, villagers may come twice in the same week or again anyhow.

I've had villagers move in from the campsite if someone is moving in the next day...
Also sometimes if I time travel a day or two they are still there like the game hasn't reset the campsite but it's a new day. I don't know why

I thought you could still invite villagers in from the campsite as long as you don't have 10 (or about to have 10) villagers.
I could be wrong, but I believe I've invited a villager in from the campsite when I had 8 villagers & a plot down for a 9th in my cycling town though.
If I were you I'd just keep trying c:

You can invite them in, definitely - I've invited them in when I've had a plot laid down. Just keep trying. It might take a while. Just empty your pockets of items and bells so you won't have to play games. You'll get there eventually!

just keep talking, talking talking. Just don't have your gates open or whatsoever otherwise he isn't going to ask you. It took me a loooong time to have merengue propose ;___;
