Campers disappearing?????

Hey guys, I recently built the campsite in my town and I don?t seem to be getting any campers? Just this morning I got super excited when I opened the game because it showed someone was finally in the camp site on the start up screen, but when I actually enter the game they?re gone?? I had a town before this one and never had issues with it, does anyone know what might be the problem? I didn?t time travel when I started the game this morning either

What you see on the loading screen can be right and other times it's not.
I've seen a plot for a villagers new house and it wasn't there when I started the game.
Also seen a hybrid but it wasn't there when I started the game up.

I had exactly the same yesterday. Very annoying. I had assumed that the loading screen was an accurate preview of my town that day. Obviously not.
