Camper Questions

I'm sure its been asked before, but here goes:

I've seen things alluding to one of your 10 villager slots being reserved for a camper that has moved in. I've had Francine pretty much as long as I've had the campsite, so I have no personal experience about that. I'm ready for her to leave though. So here's what I wanna know...

If I let her move out, will someone randomly move in or do I have to have a camper move in?
Could I have a villager move in from another town?
How does the WiFi/street pass pool play into this?

I couldn't find any concrete answers online, and even if someone can answer part of this, maybe I can figure out how to handle her moving.

The 10th villagers can also come from another players town or streetpass. If Francine moved out, you would have 9 villagers correct? Then no one would move in, unless you Wi-fi with someone or streetpass someone that has a villager moving/recently moved out. I would suggest simply nott Wi-fi'ing with anyone and turning your streetpass off if you're looking for a specific villager to replace Francine.

Yeah, I would have 9 when she moved. Thanks for your reply, that pretty much was the info I needed. She isn't next to move, but when she goes I'd like to trade her (meaning the slot she leaves would be filled with a villager from another town), or wait on a new camper to appear.
