Camper frustrations

I've been waiting and waiting for a camper to take my tenth villager spot. I finally got one and it's Mitzi. PSYCHED. I love Mitzi and I've never gotten to have her as a villager! I talked to her a few times and she mentioned how great my town is, so I offered to let her move in...and she says she's not ready to move yet.

;-----; why would you tease me like this, game? Why would you dangle a cat villager in my face and then have her not want to leave her town?

Awww, keep at it! Took me a while for Diana to accept my offer earlier today.
If you have a free spot in town she can't refuse eventually.

I got marshal in my campsite and I knew I only had 9 villagers so I was super psyched out!! But he took aaages and ages to agree to move - I think by the end he ate up about 50k in stupid games.

Just persevere. She'll agree eventually.

It took me probably close to half an hour to get Chrissy to move into my first town from the campsite.

I think you can empty your pockets and not have any money on you. She won't offer to play games, then. Or also, playing a lot of games with them also makes them warm up to you, so if you keep playing games, they'll move in right away without playing charades or rock-paper-scissors. I accidentally moved in Moe and Dizzy that way.

Oh good ;u; I didn't know that she would eventually agree. Huzzah! I'm gonna talk her cute little ears off then >: D

EDIT: After a couple of games, she suggested that we play a game of rock paper scissors to see if she'd move in, and I won so she's moving in tomorrow! Thanks guys! I would have given up if I didn't know that you could sway them like that :3 I don't get many campers so I wasn't sure xD

Good you got her to move in! I had the same problem with Tia, asking her to move in like 4 times and she kept saying she couldn't leave her friends and such. I saved and quit, then restarted the game. After talking to her twice she wanted to play a game to see if she would move in. So that might help as well in the future

I had that happen with Chrissy. I think it took me around half an hour to convince her. I'd never had trouble with campers before so I was getting worried she wouldn't be able to move in! Then my brother gave it a go and she proposed a decision game the first time he talked to her. Must have been his manly charms.

Glad you managed to convince Mitzi.

This happened with Ankha ;^; It's the most annoying thing when you keep losing the random minigames.

I updated saying that it's not a problem anymore. I didn't know that you could keep talking to them until they decide to move in :/
