Camp site visits requirement?

Can you get a camp site visitor when you only have nine villagers and have NOT set down the tenth plot? I have not had a camp visitor since the forced in snug one?

I think it's completely random, like in New Leaf. Probably give it more time.

From what ive seen its random? Atleast even with all 10 villagers i'm still getting campsite visitors every so often.

It must be random. I have 10 villagers and have not gotten a single random camper since my first one came and I had no choice but to accept. Isabelle announces it, right? She hasn't said anything nor have I seen anything. Kinda sad about it.

As everyone's saying, it's random. I've had 10 plots and only 2 visitors (one before the plots were down, one after).

TBH I wish they would increase the rate at which visitors come.
