I had a villager move out last week, and there is someone in the campsite I want to move in.
Is there any way to assure she will?

Keep talking to them until they say something about maybe moving there. Say that they should. If they say no, keep talking until they bring it up again and say yes. You might have to play a game to get them to move in. If you lose, keep talking to them until they bring it up again.

she keeps saying how much she likes the town...but never mentioned moving

Do you have 10 villagers? Is there a plot in your town for someone moving in? If not, she might just be stubborn.

I have 9 someone moved last week

No need to play games with them. Leave tent and go back in and keep asking. They'll agree eventually

It's a guarantee she'll move in, it just depends on your level of patience. Some people have reported trying for hours. I've never had to go more than 10 minutes. I was taking in Stitches the other day and he kept playing coy. I don't even care about him, so I basically said, "You get one more chance." He agreed.

It sucks for people who don't know persistence pays off. I missed out on Fauna as my first camper when I had 9 villagers because she kept saying no.

she's moving in...I kept talking to her and she said maybe i should move here again, then asked to play a game..I won and she's moving!
