Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex

My brother's getting it for me for christmas. He knows I hate surprises, so he told me what he got me and handed me the game and said "Don't open it."

Now I'm sort of wishing he didn't show me it, because It's becoming a sort of torture since I can't play it until christmas XD

Anyway, anyone else have it? It looks great.

EDIT: He just now let me play it. It's awesome. The controls were way better than I thought they'd be, and the motion controls for reloading and stuff worked great.

I tried online once, and there was no visible lag. But there definitely was some lag with the hit detection. In the five minute mach I played, I only got one kill. Even though I was aiming directly at people (some that weren't even moving) and shooting, they wouldn't die. The one kill I got was just dumb luck with a grenade I accidentally threw.

Hmm, didn't think this topic would be ignored this much...

Anyway, if you're playing World at War or The Conduit, I suggest you check this game out. In my opinion, this game is better than both of those.

If anyone here does have it, feel free to share your friend code if you want to play online with me. I'm not that good, though

Reflex, that's the Wii version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare yes?
I might have to check this out, I'm in need of a good shooter game on the Wii. I was leaning towards getting The Conduit because of the Wii Speak capability but I think this would be a better game.

Yeah, it's basically Call of Duty 4 for the Wii.

The fact that there's no voice chat doesn't affect the game. It's not like anyone would really use it to for strategies, anyway.

This game has bigger online maps than the conduit's online maps (well from what I've seen in videos, anyway.)

Just so you know, there are a few hackers out there. I haven't played with any yet, but there are videos of them on youtube. But it's not like you can't leave the server if there is one.

My only worry with getting it is that I never got into Call of Duty: World at War and never tried online.

Do you think it's still worth checking out even if I didn't like World at War? The main reason I didn't like it was because war games bore me a bit but since Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex is set in modern day I think I might find it more interesting.

I absolutely hate WWII games and really enjoy this one. But, I suggest just renting it/borrowing it from a friend first, just to make sure you like it so you don't waste $50 it.

And I would highly recommend Reflex to any Wii owners, surpurb game, and thoroughly enjoy online. Sometimes I pwn big time, sometimes I suck, and sometimes... mehh...

This version may be inferior to the original, but the Wii controls are just better for FPSs. After playing FPSs on the Wii for a while, I tried to play something for the 360... feels for clunky / not fluid.

Edit: Planning on getting a PS3, 360 is greatly inferior to the PS3. MW2 is on the top of my list of what game to get xD
