Cafe Building

Assuming they add the Cafe in New Horizons (I am not saying they will) would you prefer that it be in the museum (or another building) or a separate building itself.

Personally I would prefer it as a separate building because I would like to decorate the outside area around the cafe and make a sitting area for it. In addition, I just think it would be nice to have a cafe building in general.

What are your thoughts?

A separate building for sure. If it’s similar in size to how it was in NL, I have the perfect spot on my beach set aside for it. Each time I run past it though I have to forcefully stop myself from coming up with different ideas for the space lol

Inside a building. I don’t really like how it looked in new leaf , and it sort of Reminds me of how Nooks Cranny looks right now. The only building I dislike how it looks in this game is the Nooks Cranny....so I don’t want two ugly buildings. It was so hard to decorate Nooks cranny.

I definetly would love other separate buildings like police, dreams suite , Katrina.....just not this one.

No, seriously, I'm gonna be so annoyed if they stuff it in the museum I've also got some space set aside for it... in fact, I've left myself OPTIONS. I'm either gonna put it on a third tier cliff, overlooking the beach, or just outside the museum, near the shops. I'm leaning towards the cliff.

I'm also hoping they add even more buildings eventually. I heard rumors of a museum gift shop, and I think I heard it might be a separate building, which would be kind of neat. I'd also LOVE to be able to place Katrina's tent as a permanent building How cool would that be? I'd put it in the forest, near my haunted house... make it look like part of a travelling carnival or something!

I can't decide. Separate building would better for me cause I only go into the museum for fossils and I would eventually forget it was there if I don't see it outside when I'm running around. but then it would be hectic to try to find a new space outside when I've kinda made plans for all the space I have left.
Maybe I'll make a placeholder area that can easily be removed if a Cafe is added or something

i would prefer it being inside the museum because i have no space for another building like the cafe. stuff like that is why i wish we could just purchase new acres of land to expand the island, but thats a whole different can of worms lol

Definitely in the museum for me. I have no idea where I’d put it on my island if there was a seperate building I also already have a “cafe/restaurant/bakery/diner” on the beach which is my second character’s house.

Because of New Leaf I'd expect it to be a separate building. Also, I'd like it as a separate building since I already have space dedicated to it.

A lot of people have space issues, it seems, which I can understand- I actually assumed we'd be getting one eventually and planned for it from the beginning Hence why I'd be bummed if we couldn't place a proper building!

Maybe they could open up Harv's island or something, or just give us another similar island, where we could add more stuff. I don't see how they could expand the map as it currently is, but maybe they could give us a SECOND map? And instead of all the hassle of the airport, give us a little boat that docks at the pier to take us there quickly and easily.

Of course, they could also give us the option to place it in the museum or as a building. But IDK if they would.

I mean historically it’s always been in the museum except in NL, so that’s where that comes from.

Oh. That's just weird to me. I didn't own Wild World, and I don't remember much about City Folk.

It was in the basement and K.K. played down there! it was actually pretty cute!

I did like the freestanding one also though.

Parts of my gaming life seem to be missing, because this area is very familiar to me, but I don't recall ever going into the museum to get that.
