Buying [Buying] Genuine Paintings

I'm still decorating my ground floor, and I need some geniune paintings (I accidently switched off my DS when I got the basic painting, D'oh!). I am willing to pay a larger amount of bells for each painting than what I would normally get, but I will NOT accept forgeries.

Any GENUINE paintings: 50k
Basic Painting: 75k

I am willing to negotiate on the price, these are only guidelines for how much I'm willing to pay. These prices reflect on Redd's prices, which should give you a small profit. The Basic painting was how much I payed for from my smug villager, before I accidently switched my DS off.

Just so you know, genuine paintings are pretty rare and that raises their prices a lot.
I've seen people here spend from 50-500k on them.

500k on a genuine painting? Wow... you can tell I'm new to this forum then.

I do have a fair amount of bell, not a lot, but a fair amount. So I might be able to reach the minimum range of which you gave me.
