edit** also, couldnt you still get DIYs from bottles and villagers? i get three DIYs daily without balloons--one from the beach bottle, one from a morning villager, and one from a villager at night. so you can still get some DIYs! hopefully they fix this issue ASAP.

I still can get DIYS just not the special ones or the bunny day ones. Not enough to complete the event anyways. I don't know if it'll let me complete the event without the sky egg dress though. I may be out of luck with that one.

I do have a second character though, but it's so clunky to play and it's only good for sky eggs. I play with both characters on screen but i don't think my main can learn the sky egg recipe at all. Maybe if I leave the eggs alone after I shoot them down it'll count. I can try that. It'll be so much harder since I still want to catch up seasonal bugs/fish.

I hope so too. I'm really sad about the sky egg dress though. I'll just have to do whatever I can to hopefully knock down enough sky eggs for my main character.

Do you have to collect all other egg outfits to unlock the egg and hat? If so, I could probably do that on my own. I'm just looking for recipes really.

I got it after picking like ten eggs, it said something like "I'm getting used to these pattern, I have an idea" and the I the recipes for the dress, hat and shoes appeared on my crafting.
