This is so weird - so I planted a bunch of hydrangeas a few days ago, waited for them to mature, and then TT back to June 19 to see how they look and they aren't in bloom! No buds, nothing! Has this happened to anyone else?

Did you time travel forward at all within that season? I believe they are similar to fruit trees in that they won't grow new fruit/buds/flowers when going back in time. You'll need to actually move forward in time to see them bloom.

It must be a seasonal thing because my bushes usually look plain until spring comes around and they bud for only that season.

Yes, this is because they take 2 days to bloom just like picked flowers! So you would want to TT to June 19th, then TT to June 21rst to see them in full bloom.

They're seasonal, so not all of them will bloom at all times of the year. You might have to time travel further forward (or backward) in time to see the flowers open.
