Okay so let me start off by saying I do know there is a limit on how many bushes can be in a row, but here there is only 6. I've tried planting one there a few different times and it seems to fail every time so I don't know what I am doing wrong? Is there a limit to how many bushes can be in a certain area? Any help is appreciated! c:

You don't seem to have exceeded the limit in that spot, so maybe it's just a dead spot? You can only plant 12 bushes in a row and that includes if they're touching trees, so Idk why that one keeps dying.

I couldn't seem to get around this problem, so what I did was just do two bushes and add a hybird in the middle and add another two bushes as a pattern..but it there anything like a building/pwp/rock nearby?

I'm going to guess a dead spot is a place where you can't grow anything, right? I've never had this happen to me on this game so I guess I never thought it could happen! o: But thanks for the help!

I'll probably just end up putting another hybrid there.. And nope, no pwp's or rocks. Kid Cat's house is like 4 spaces away but there are bushes even closer to his house than that one is though.

It's definitely a dead spot. Don't know why there's dead spots, but there's no use in keeping replanting.

I have spot like that, too. Even though there are more than enough free spaces on every side, a tree just won't grow there! It's so irksome, especially when it ruins your pattern :c

I personally don't believe in dead spots. I've heard of bushes and trees dying due to a "lack of sunlight" when they're surrounded by too many other bushes or trees. What I'd do in your case is dig up the bush to the left of it, then first replant the bush that keeps withering and then replant the bush to the left. If that still doesn't work, I'd dig up all of the bushes in that row and replant them one by one, from the bottom to the top. Good luck!

I had this problem around one of my campsites, and doing this finally made the troublesome bush grow. Worth a shot!

yeah if you have too many bushes already around in a certain area, you can't plant more.... but if you start from one side and move over, it remedies this... so I would dig up the pink azalea to the far left, plant the white azalea in the "dead spot" wait for it to sprout, then plant the pink azalea back

Hmmm I did not know this! I might try it once I get the rest of my bush paths done! Thanks for the info!

Agreed! Dead spots don't exist. My bet is digging up that bush on the left, then replanting the one that won't grow. If you're still having trouble, to give us a better idea of the area, you could stand on that spot and take a picture.

There's the obvious line rule of less than 12 touching, including diagonals. Then the 8 trees in a 7x7, unless you cascade plant. But there's also an area limit of like 15 plants or so.
