Bunny Day time travel

Good morning!

So, despite staying up and trying to get the wobble toy recipe from Zipper, I didn't make it. He said I had 5 kinds left to go. Plus, I would have needed 4 of each egg to craft the toy to get the wand I think. Anyways, what do you guys think of time travel back to maybe the middle of the day? Would it erase my things/recipes learned after that time? Is anyone else doing the same thing? Is TT'ing like this seem like cheating? I've done this once before in NL, but could someone refresh me on how to TT please?

TT shouldn't delete any of the progress you have made.

Go into your Switch settings and go down to System, then there's a Date and Time tab close to the top of the list. Turn off internet sync and then you can change the date to anything you like!

Thank you for your replies! Do you think it is somewhat cheating or looked down upon to do this for an event? I'm starting a new island on my Switch Lite anyway and plan to not TT on that one.

Ah yes, the eternal debate.

Personal opinion: Of course it's somewhat cheating! But does it matter? I don't think so. People should play the game the way they want. I don't TT myself, though I am guilty of using people in other timezones to catch day fish or shop in the evening. Isn't that the same?

Anyway, why would it hurt me when someone else does it? If that's fun for them... I say, if you want the rest of those items, go for it!

TTing vs not TTing is always an unnecessarily heated debate if I'm being honest. Do what makes you feel best and happiest, and dont do anything that'll make you feel crummy. Play the game how you like and don't worry about what others think about it. That's most important!

I'm not sure if you can restart the event by going back, but since you're only looking to collect the wand, I don't see any harm. Regardless of cheating or not.
