What does bump mean?

It is when you take a thread that is low on the list due to lack of recent posts, and put it back up higher on the list of recent threads. You really shouldnt be bumping in a thread until at least an hour or 2 has passed

You actually aren't supposed to bump topics AT ALL. If you want to keep a topic going, add some sort of insightful information to it. If that's not possible, ask a staff member to bump if for you.
