Hey there friends! I?m trying to brainstorm ideas for a tropical bug themed room in my house so I thought I?d get some ideas from the wonderful folks of bell tree. :)

I?ve tried making jungle rooms in the past (using the jungle floor and wall) but it?s always turned out looking a bit cheesy. I have some of the bug furniture from the bug offs but I can trade for more if I think I wanna use them. I?m basically trying to think of some unique ideas so if any of you have anything to share, I would love to hear it! :) thanks!

I think going more Island tropical could be a cool direction! For example, a few Palm Tree Lamps, the Desert Island Escape Table & Stool, a basket of coconuts, hibiscus clock, etc. Mixed in with the bug furniture and even some of the floral Weeding Day items would make for a fun, quirky room!

Alternatively you could do something Fall bug themed, with the Autumn wall & floor, several Cicada stereos, maple bonsai, mush furniture, leaf pile etc, but I'm guessing you're more leaning for a lush jungle bug feel :)

Ahh wow you’re making me rethink the lush jungle idea! I loooove your suggestions! I’m so torn now haha.. I really like the island bug room... hmm this will be fun :) thank you so much!

I'll throw out a few wallpaper ideas:

Garden Wall

Bamboo Grove which might not be what you're looking for but thought I would point it out.

Creepy Wall which might work if you want a more spooky bug theme.

Ivy Wall for if you want it to still look like you're inside a building.

Also for furniture, the Mush Lamp seems like it would be a good source of lighting.

Oooh I actually really like the bamboo grove! Thank you for showing that to me!

I have a bug-themed room in my museum. You can see it below. I don't know if it will give you inspiration since I went for a more lush, green vibe versus the tropical theme. But I do like your tropical idea and I'd love to see how your room turns out!

Ahhh I wish I could LOVE a post instead of just liking it haha. I love that room it’s so adorable! I’ll try to remember to post a picture once I’m finished with mine! Quick question, what are the two pieces of furniture on your leaf table in the back in the middle? I’m trying to figure it out but I can’t recognize them!

Thank you so much! On the leaf table in the back, I have both crickets that you can catch in the fall, the regular cricket and the bell cricket. Their wooden cages look so nice and they add some bug noises to the room. I also have a croakoid tucked away in the back left corner that's mostly hidden but adds a nice sound to go with the crickets. On the leaf table that closest to the camera, I have the sapling clock that you get for your yearly anniversary and the snail clock.

Ohhhh! I had no idea that the crickets were displayed in wooden cages! Haha that’s so amazing I’ll have to keep that in mind. Thank you, again!
