Garry's Mod Animal Villager Commission Thread
2/2 SLOTS AVAILABLE
Got an idea for a profile picture (PFP) or banner of your favorite villager(s)? Are Photopia's options somewhat letting you down? I've got you.
After making several PFP's and banners of stuff for my own personal use and slowly gaining more experience with ragdoll posing in Garry's Mod, I figure I'd try my hand at accepting some commissions and see how well it goes. As I am still continuing to better my abilities in GIMP, some options and desired styles are currently limited, but I'll give some new things a shot. After all, we learn more over time, right?
As of right now, I am accepting commissions for profile pictures and banners featuring animal villagers only. I'm still trying to learn how to dress and pose the human characters, as it can be a struggle at times. If I feel that I'm ready to accept such requests, I'll make a separate announcement in this thread. Without further ado, here's the services I have available...

A 600x600 profile picture of an animal villager in front of a backdrop, square or circular. Essentially similar to the posters in New Horizons. Smaller scale sizes available by request.
- Transparent backdrop (for your own use; just give me credit): +30 TBT
- If there are multiple villagers, add +30 more TBT per villager
- Props: +5 TBT per prop
- This also includes clothing accessories worn by the villager (sunglasses, hat, etc.)
- Props for backdrop use only are not extra
- Additional animal villagers: +50 TBT per villager

Single villager signature banner (Starting at 250 TBT)A banner of an animal villager posing in front of a backdrop or next to text. These banners by default will be sized at 960x420, and you will have to resize them yourself on the site to make them fit properly in your signature by inserting it, clicking on it, then "change size". Wider or slimmer sizes are available by request; limitations apply.
- Transparent backdrop: +50 TBT
- If there are multiple villagers, add +30 more TBT per villager
- Props: +5 TBT per prop
- Same rules as PFP's apply
- Additional animal villagers: +50 TBT per villager
- Drop shadow (TBT style; can also be used for the villagers themselves if using transparent backdrop): +15 TBT
- Solid colored border (cannot use with transparent backdrop): +10 TBT
- Textured border (cannot use with transparent backdrop): +30 TBT
NOTE: Roscoe's pose in the sunset banner was taken via Photopia, but I'm still showing it here anyway to give you a sense of what I'm capable of design-wise.

Still screen cap (Coming soon)
Simulating screen caps of scenes from films, the villager(s) are placed in a setting performing an action. Intended to support fanfic stories, this service will become available at some point in the future, and will be RLC only.

Limitations and things I cannot do
- As mentioned above, I cannot do human villagers at this time, though I may be able to in the future.
- No cow or bull villagers. It's not because I don't like them, but rather their New Horizons character models are unavailable for use in GMOD and likely never will be. Same applies for many "unpopular" special characters and those in HHP.
- Likewise, not every clothing accessory or prop is available at my disposal. You can still request for an item, and I'll double check and make sure I can do it before charging you.
- Most clothing tops and dresses from the game are available, but I cannot do custom designs. Maybe in the future.
- I can only perform some photo effects and filters, as I'm still experimenting every time I use GIMP. Essentially, if a request sounds very complicated, I may not be able to create it to others' expectations.
- If requesting a size scale change for banners, I can do 1920 pixels wide and 840 pixels tall max. However, depending on quality of source material, I may have to settle for a smaller size as these are supposed to go into TBT signatures.
- I do have a work life, so please don't be upset if a commission is taking a while to finish. Of course, I will PM you directly if I have questions or want input before finishing and sharing your commission publicly, as I want to make sure you are satisfied. On a side note, banners will usually take much longer to finish compared to PFP's.
- No requests for stuff that can potentially break forum rules (includes, but not limited to):
- Clothe-less villagers (yes, nobody wears pants, but I still wanna play it safe)
- Actions that promote hate or extreme violence (this includes guns)
- Gore
- Sexual acts

Interested in my services? Fill out this form below and post it in this thread:
TBT Username: Your name here.
Style requested: PFP / Banner
Villager(s): List desired villagers here.
Clothing preference: Describe what the villager(s) should wear, show a picture if possible.
Props (if any): List desired props here.
Backdrop style: Describe what kind of backdrop you would like and if you would like a border.
Description: Explain in detail what you would like to see in the PFP or banner, such as villager poses, overall style, text, and so on. The more you describe, the better. Please try to avoid saying "surprise me" as I'm not the best at improvisition. I work best if I'm given a visual idea of what I'm attempting to create, though pictures are not required.
Expected payment: Total payment in TBT calculated from options desired.
Please note: Do NOT send TBT payment over UNTIL I ACCEPT YOUR COMMISSION. The reason for this is so that I can double-check and find out if I have the necessary models and props available to use. If I turn down your commission, it's usually because I cannot create it at this time.
