~Bring on the Coupling!~

Anyone else do this? Being that there's not much coupling of characters in AC (Other than the famous Retail Duo) it's almost instinct to think two characters are just too cute too NOT be with one another. Who do you pair up?~

Personally, I have only a few. That being..
NPCs:
Kicks and Labelle (They both sell little accessories~)
Sable and Mayor (Is it just me? I can't help but love the slow friendship they build!)

Residents:
Fang, Whitney, and Bella (A love triangle I made up of my residents.
Fang and Whitney obviously like one another, but I always find Bella near Fang, talking to him, or in his house. Poor girl knows she doesn't have a shot but she's trying so hard! XD)
Stitches and Cheri (A shy and Self-conscious Stitches with rough and tough little Cheri~)
Punchy and Lolly (A wild alley cat Punchy with a domesticated, stay at home Lolly~)
Phoebe and Midge (A expressive, outgoing Phoebe with a smaller, sweet though spunky Midge)
Diana and Bruce (A sweet and meek Diana with a Over-protective big shot Bruce)
Amelia and Apollo (They just seem like they'd connect perfectly)
Marshal and Peanut (Complete Opposites. A Sasuke to Sakura/Sonic to Amy connection XD)
Chief and Wolfgang (They're so fabulous~! <3)

I love when I have two of the same type of species, one girl and one boy. Right now I have Walt and Sylvia, and I've been trying to hook them up for MONTHS. I thought Walt's (being cranky) attitude was kind of a turn off for Sylvia, but then I noticed she hung around him a lot. So then I thought well maybe Walt doesn't want to raise another kangaroo's joey... But then one day Henry was telling me about how Walt and Sylvia seem to be really close and I was like awwww~ and then I talked to Sylvia and noticed she had adopted Walt's catchphrase: Pockets!

I also had Diva in my town, and I thought Henry had the hots for her, but he's so gentlemanly and down to earth, and Diva was just way too hard to please. So I let Diva move out and sent an apology note to Henry. (I'm pretty sure Henry mostly just has a really big crush on my mayor anyways, so he's cool now)

I'm going to do more than one pairing of the same character because I can't just do one of each:

Kid Cat/Genji - competitive jock buddies who try to one-up each other
Kid Cat/Mira - crime fighters; Kid Cat patrols the town while Mira wins contests against evildoers
Mitzi/Gayle - empathetic & polite neighbors who'd share stories and tips with you
Gayle/Mira - storyteller; Mira tells stories while Gayle listens with admiration
Mitzi/Kid Cat - Kid Cat takes tips from Mitzi on improving his training & she occasionally challenges him to work his mind
Beau/Mira - Mira tries to toughen Beau up at his request... but he cries every time
Beau/Fang - they get along well, despite Beau still crying now and then
Diana/Mira - strong-willed gals who clash from time to time

Sprinkle and Chrissy are new to my town, so nothing on them yet. ^^

I can't imagine any villagers getting together romantically, but there is one NPC relationship you missed: Isabelle and Copper! I could write you an essay on Isabelle and Copper. They're everything to me. I put my police station right next to town hall for a reason >

Katt and Walker lived next to each other like I want them to be =D dog and cat! xD
Nibbles and Barold were close and yes that make them a cute couple~
Blanche the fabulous classy ostrich with the short and gentle Graham make another cute pair~
Molly and Bunnie not couple but best friend and sister =D

The only non-couple in my town is Roald and Rizzo~ xD

I have a soft spot for romantic relationships. Animal Crossing is probably the perfect game for love-based head-cannons. Tom Nook x Sable makes a lot of sense because of their backstory.

As for my neighbors right now, I'm not sure at the moment. Olaf certainly flirts with the mayor a lot. And I think Isabelle x the mayor would make sense as well, based on the secretary's actions and all.

I need better townsfolk before I start creating relationships and couples

Beau, Punchy, Lucky and Sydney. Inseparable 4. They always mention each other at least once a day when I talk to them. They also share shirts to one another... Sydney has spread her catchphrase to Beau and Punchy now. ;__;.

Maybe taking a cue from his pal Keaton, O'Hare decided to woo Ruby in the same way, but with a slightly different outcome. Nevertheless, he's at her house all the time, and they even talk about each other when the other isn't around.

However, O'Hare is quite the ladies' man, and despite his relationship with Ruby, he can be found flirting with some of the other ladies. Feisty Bree pretends to hate him, but she sometimes drops the act.
