Brewster's Obsession

Why is Brewster so obsessed with Gyroids? It's kind of creepy how he just stands there at his counter 24/7 and barely talks to anyone. It makes you wonder what he is thinking. Also I'd love it if his backstory is that of a creepypasta.

I don't see why its creepy. It's almost the same as Sable, they both kinda just stand there doing their work with very minimal talking.
They're shy, not creepy!
Also, Coco is obsessed with Gyroids well she is a gyroid
