Brewster doesn't need any help?! HELP?

Hello!

I finally unlocked the option to work for Brewster at the caf?. HOWEVER, every time I go to him, he won't let me work!
I've googled the problem already, so I noticed there's a few things that'll prevent you from working for him:
1) He only needs work between 11am and 11pm;
2) He won't let you work when there's an event;
3) You need a few empty lots in your bag.

He still won't let me work It's 11:20 AM where I live right now, so that can't be the issue and there's no events going on whatsoever.

I really want to work for him ugh


Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Why can't I work?


Edit: I already drank a lot of coffee at Brewsters, he told me I can come work for him. If I go to him he just tells me he doesn't have any work right now and to come back some other time.

Do you drink coffee before asking to work with Brewster? That is what I did every time. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I haven't had problems working with Brewster when using that method.

October 1-7 are considered event days, since Jack can appear (assuming you're playing in real time).
Try tomorrow, and he SHOULD let you work!
