This so much! And he pays you in coffee beans. True, some are valuable, but I bet if he hired animals, they'd get paid bells. And also get the respect they deserve.

He hates us because he works all day and he doesn't get paid. He gives coffee to the villagers and lets them sit there because they don't get paid either. In fact....unless we even buy from any NPC, none of them get paid for working all day. One day they're going to rise up and demand a paycheck. But until then, we pay 200 bells for scalding hot coffee which we have to gulp and leave. He pays us in coffee beans because he has no bells to give us. He works for free and by giving us beans he's actually losing money to let us work.
you're sitting down in the right-most seat, and since the chairs are kinda squished together there's no way anybody could fit in the center seat... and/or maybe be able to get out of the left seat at all! when brewster forces you out of your seat, he's just assuring that everybody else easily find a seat without having to smush themselves in-between chairs.
as for the coffee beans... well, brewster isn't exactly rich. when the mayor does their part-time job, brewster pays them in coffee beans because it's the only valuable stuff that he can give to them!
