BREAKING NEWS:Bin Laden dead: awaiting response from president.

I'm actually disgusted by the people celebrating and having parties over his death. I know he was a horrible person, but I don't think it's right to celebrate someones death. All this is going to do is add more fuel to the fire.

Throughout the day, I have heard many comments about his death. Some of which are highly disturbing. To wish death upon someone is a truly horrible thing. To say " I hope he rots in hell" and "Eat dirt Bin Laden" are just horrible. Now, don't get me wrong I'm happy that he has been killed and stuffs but the way people are responding to this makes me sick. What many people don't realize is this directly is not the end of the war. The death of him is more, symbolic.

Overall, I'm glad he was caught but even more glad that it happened during Obama's term.

In the words of Martin Luther King Jr. -
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy."

Dang., was about to put that. (;P) I saw a video about this quote and the thing i said earlier on Ksicfaces or something.. But here's the rest of the quote.
"I mourn the loss of thousands of precious lives, but I will not rejoice in the death of one, not even an enemy. Returning hate for hate multiplies hate, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that".

He's a martyr in Al-Queda's eyes. For what we see as a victory, so do they. His "victory" has inspired them. They believe he has some high place in heaven.

You know what they say "The battle is won, but the 'war' is far from over."

I'm glad he's dead, he did many horrible things, but I still feel that it's wrong to celebrate his death so much. Imagine if an entire country was celebrating the death of your father, or husband/wife, or anybody close to you? That would sting, a lot. I'm not saying he should not have been killed, but we shouldn't be having parties over his death.

I know that people want to make sure he's dead and all, but do you really want to see his shot up body?

But he was shot in the head, wasn't he? That's not that bad. It happened in Pirates of the Caribbean.

You don't see my point. I'm just saying he was shot in the head, like in the movie, it isn't that morbid.

Completely bogus.
