Boy Player Getting a Girl Haircut

Okay, so I just walked into Shampoodle, and I wasn't exactly paying attention, but Harriet stated that I could pull off a girls haircut just like any other haircut. I had the option, "So not happening," and another one agreeing. I obviously chose to go through with it, and now my male character is getting a female hairstyle. I'm wondering if she brought it up because my character is wearing a kilt, and in-game, the kilt is probably perceived as a skirt. Has anybody ever done this? If not, give it a try if you're interested.

well my male equivalent of myself who's a mule in my town has the ponytail haircut because boys look nice with long hair imo

everything else looks laughable though
and yeah it's only after like 15 times it's stupid and we should get that choice to begin with tbh like girls with short hair exist and guys with long hair exist even though significantly less

I like the Neutral > Serious > Overcome style for the girls hair. It just looks nice. So I went with that because I wanted to see how it would look in action. Of course with my character wearing a Tam O'Shanter, his hair turns fluffy as seen in my avatar.

I wouldn't know. It probably is 15. Maybe even 10. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been to Shampoodle, but it doesn't feel like a whole lot. I was pretty content with the default hairstyle and blond hair to brunette hair, so I wouldn't go there very often.
