Boy howdy, trying to fill your town with flowers is hard work

Especially if most of them are hybrids!


What's circled is almost filled, so I've got a looong way to go to fill my town completely.

Who else has done this before?

My town is overflowing with flowers. Not because I planted them there but because my villagers LOVE to plant flowers. Continuously. If a random flower shows up somewhere sooner or later villagers will plant a dozen by it. My town's not exactly filled but I'd say about 30% covered in flowers. I'd be a little more if I didn't take out the flowers I didn't need/disliked.

Are you just using hybrids? Because I have a lot of non hybrid flowers I don't need.

My town used to be filled with flowers and i hated it. Villagers just kept planting and watering and it was just so out of control i eventually ended up selling a good amount of the hybrids i didn't use and throwing away the rest.

Oh my gosh, tell me about it. .__.
Every last inch of my town is blanketed in flowers (except paths!).
All of my flowers are white with occasional purple violets, though, so I just had to go on a bunch of island tours.

Hard to fill your town with flowers? For me, it's hard to empty my town of flowers..

I have done it and it seems like it took me ages! And my town isn't even full of flowers, they are planted just along the paths.

It took me about 3 months on my first town to get all but a few paths covered in flowers. ~ most of those were planted by villagers or gathered from my alt town back then.

My current town I was TTing through the start of the game ~ to catch up to where my old one was~ and then I bought flowers to fill most of whats left. I've still a handful of unfinished bits, but I'm taking a break from all the rearranging now. o: The brunt of the work took 2 months, but it's been a while since I've done anymore.

This is one of the reasons why I took a restart. I had to many flowers because I was trying to design my town and it got all messed up. There were other reasons why also, but it was just one.
The flowers take forever to do.

My old town was covered in flowers and I frequently gave them away. Even my current town is slowly becoming overrun by them. I know I should do something about it now rather than later but it's such a pain.
