Border Path Help?

So I have some areas where I would like sort of a border path for between the cobblestone and the path, but I'm not sure what to put there. I already tried water paths with bridges, but they just don't look right to me, so if anyone could help with other ideas, that would be great. I'd prefer not to tile over more than just the edge of the cobblestone areas, though, but without some sort of border, I think it looks ugly when the normal path meets the cobblestone.
I was originally going to have natural paths, but since I don't play often anymore, I can't really work on them, so those aren't really an option.

Also, part of my problem, as you can see from the screenshots, is that my Town Hall area isn't symmetrical, so the border paths look sort of weird there.

Maybe a light colored brick? they tend to look nice. But if your going for a natural look, maybe some normal brick paths, or some flowery ones? i'm not sure what you like, but I can give you some qr codes if you like :~)

So the border? okay.
Maybe you could try some hacking? I know there is a hack (might not work anymore) that can let you place flowers in rivers, or trees right up against the hills. So maybe it could let you place bushes on the cobble to make an outline that is symmetrical? i've never hacked before, and am unsure if you would do that, but it's worth a shot!
