I tt'd to get a camper and forgot to whizz around my villagers incase they popped up wanting to leave!

Now bones is moving! Gahh! Please tell me there's a way to get him back!!

The only way is to cycle through 16 villagers >n<

Is he in boxes right now? If so you'll need someone to hold him while you do the 16 cycle.

Unfortunately, now that he is boxed up, there is nothing you can do. You'll have to complete the 16 villager cycle or find someone to replace him :c

Like Mookie said, if he's already packed up, your best bet is to find someone who's willing to hold him for you until you have completed the 16 villagers cycle. Maybe try asking some of the cyclers on the Villager Trading Plaza? I think someone recently started a service specifically to help people hold on to their villagers until they're ready to move in.
