BOB LEFT. I'M DEVASTATED.

but. I didn't play for a ****ing week and today Bob moved out. I'm so goddamn pissed. I will literally pay 90mil to have him back. DOES ANYONE ****ING KNOW ANYONE SELLING HIM OR SOME BULL****. PLEASE HELP ME OUT. ****.

Same thing happened to me with Fuchsia a couple months ago. No rumors of her leaving was mentioned or anything. One day I was greeted with Isabelle saying she was in boxes, and I was like what the heck?! I had a high friendship rating with her too which didnt make any sense!

Sadly, unless you move out 16 more villagers, you can't get him back. It can take, while TTing, a month or so a the least. Sorry. That happened with Sly to me about a year ago.

You can't get him back (even if it's a different Bob) until you go through 16 villagers first. The bright side of that is that if Bob is in your void, you can try to visit people who wouldn't mind holding him for you. If he moves into their town, he'll be the same Bob that was in your town and he'll still remember you.

Bob's in my town, and is currently a prized villager. However, if he requests to move out then I would be more than willing to let you take him. That's if, of course, you can take him.

This is why I don't bother with dream villagers, 90 million is a lot of bells, having to go through 16 villagers is so much hassle and time consuming, and restarting your town would just ruin all your hard work

I think if you have a favourite villager in your town, you should just take 2 mins out of your day talk to them to ensure they're not thinking of moving, if you don't play for a long time you should expect this to happen

I remember when my Bob left, I was devastated as well.
I started cycling immediately and got him back in a week.

I'm so sorry that happened to you! I lost Pietro once and Coco, and I was devastated. I did the 16 villager cycle and got them back again and they had better not move!

The upside is that you CAN get Bob back, and people here are trying to help. It's one of the things I love most about this place - the kindness you find.

I've never had Bob, so I don't know him. But I do understand how you feel. It's really a downer.

As you can see from above, 16 villagers are going to have to move out before you can get Bob back. It's really sad and stupid, and I had to reset my town because it would've taken me forever to cycle 16 villagers out. :/ But if you can do it, go ahead!

And super sorry to hear that. I had Bob once and he's an awesome villager.

My husband lost Kitty, she was one of his favorites too. It was a sad day when he realized she left. He understood that this happened because he didn't play it for about a week though. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

However, as someone else stated here, if you are going to bother having favorite villagers at all, you either better visit your game at least for a few minutes every day or be prepared to lose them.

If you stop playing on a day that you stop a villager from moving then you can take as long of a break as you want.When you start up again,no one will have moved.

I have 4 towns and i can't possibly play them all everyday.I have been playing new leaf for over a year and have never lost a villager by doing this.When i do pick up one of the games that i haven't played in a while, i always make sure to stop the mover before i take a break again.

I am sorry for your loss.I would be upset if my favorite villager left too.I hope you get him back again real soon.

You can stop from losing them and not play for months actually!

Just time travel back to the last time you played and no one will be gone.

If I lose a villager,I see it as an opportunity to bring in a new villager that I might like as much or better than the one that left.Since you lost Bob,get Punchy or Moe to replace him or one of the other lazies.There's a lot of good ones out there.
