Bob in Del's House??

Hello!

I am wondering if there is a fix to this. I was TT cycling villagers. Del asked to leave, and I said yes. But then I went to my campsite and Bob was there and agreed to move in, as my town is full, he asked to trade places with Del, and since Del had already asked to move I thought that would work out just fine. Forward a couple of days and I go up to Bob's house and the exteriors is still looking like Del's! Is there a fix for this? I thought this house glitch only happened on amiibo force outs!

This glitch can affect all camper force outs, not just Amiibo (the Amiibo-specific glitches have been patched since March).

It's usually caused by messing with the "plot sold" day. TTing forwards and skipping the plot sold day, TTing backwards, and even just not loading the save file on the "plot sold" day can cause the glitch.

Nothing bad has been reported from the glitch, but there's no way to fix it without re-inviting the villager.

I see... so will I be able to move Bob out as I continue to cycle? When he moves out if I chose to have him do so, would his exterior return to normal on the next person's island?

Yep, you're safe to move him out! This exterior glitch only affects the island of the campsite. Once he's adopted out, his house is normal on the other island.
