So my husband, comic genius that he is, just had my daughter and I rolling in laughter as he described Black Friday at Nookington's. All the villagers crowding in, pushing and shoving to get the last on sale super toilet and that VERY last ramshackle wall. It's on sale!!

That would actually be hilarious!

"MOVE STITCHES, YOU STUPID BEAR!" xD

I'm kinda sad that they didn't implement it into the game. :C

all i cant picture is gracie holding up a huge "do not enter" sign, screaming how her items are too top notch to ever be discounted and yelling at the animals to "get out you filthy mongrels!"

poor small villagers would probably be trampled, maybe that explains unexpected move outs? :p

That would be hilarious. If they ever implement it into the game, maybe they'd have like a timer and have like over a hundred villagers in the store that you have to try to push to buy anything. Once the timer is up, everything is 'sold out' and the villagers all disappear.

It would be a fun CT game.

It probably wasn't put in because I don't think the Japanese have even heard of Black Friday. They certainly don't have Black Friday.

The closest thing to Black Friday in Japan is the New Year's sales + fukubukuro. Fukubukuro literally means "lucky bag". Stores will stick random stuff in a bag and put a price on it and you're paying for whatever's inside that you aren't allowed to see before buying. Sometimes you get things that aren't worth as much as you paid. Sometimes you get something for super cheap. As an example of the latter, people have bought fukubukuro from the Japanese Apple stores, paid $300 for it, and got a $700 iPad or $1000 Macbook out of it.

I would love to have fukubukuro in game! I would definitely prefer that to Black Friday. Black Friday has only really been a thing here since last year....

Guys, this is SO fun! I was imagining the eagles soaring over the crowds of screaming land mammals, lol. And the tinies riding the shoulders of the biggies. Can you just imagine Stitches riding on Teddy's back, giving him orders on what to pick out? 'Hurry, Teddy, we need the BIG tv! Shove Miranda out of the way!' Ahh, Black Friday. America's day to show the world how gross we are :)

Oh man that would be awesome to have in the game! I'm imagining this right now:

Timmy: Please, animals of all species, please get in an orderly fashion in front of the cash reigster! Orderly!

...What if you had a bear going to a Black Friday in your town and the check-out line was too long and it decided to eat all of the other animals up...
