Birthdays

I remember in WW they would send party invitation and you'd go to their house and give them gift. In CF it seems like he/she doesn't even know it's his/her b-day!!
Does anybody know anything about this?

It tells you the villagers birthdays on the bulletin board...

but thats it, the birthday animal doesn't seem to care about their b-day
