Birthday event and moving rumor

Heyo all. Sorry if this has been asked before, but basically I have a villager's birthday going on (9/29), but I've also been told by two other villagers that the villager whose birthday is occurring is planning on moving. Is there any way to safely get this villager to change their mind, or is it possible for them to be in boxes the next day? The villager's in their home all day so there's no way I can talk to them about anything not birthday related...

I don't think I remember too well. Probably at least 2-3 days ago. But probably not like over a week since I've had others ping me too.

I've noticed that villagers usually set a move-out date for 5 days in advance and it usually takes 2-3 days before a new one pings. So my guess is he probably decided to move today, but he couldn't ping you since he's in his house for his birthday.

I'm not sure when they come out of their houses on their birthday, but you'll probably be safe for tomorrow.

that rumour spreads all the time in my town, and nothing happens. It's just s rumour, so don't worry about it at least I think so.

so what you are saying is that the villager who is celebrating their birthday is planning on moving right? if yes this also happened to me so this is what you do. after 12am that villager who is celebrating their birthday will no longer be inside their house. so if you want to keep that villager change the ds clock to 12am and go around and look for that villager and they will ping you and tell you about their plan on moving out. though the only problem would be is that I don't know if changing the ds clock back to the original time could cause a problem. so to be on the safe side I'd say change the ds clock to 12am when it's already night at your location

ooooh thanks, this sounds like a good idea. And yeah changing the time (as long as the day does not change) will not impact anything. I've done this before.

yeah don't change the date just the time and everything should be fine. I had the same problem with a villager celebrating their birthday and one of my villagers telling me that villager was planning on moving. since villagers obviously have to sleep I picked 12am as a guess that they will no longer be inside their house celebrating their birthday and it worked.

I had the move out rumor ping with Teddy during a holiday. The holiday wasn't over until 12am. I TT to 12am and he was in bed.
So I TT back to 1155pm and when I found him he was fishing. He just stayed there and wouldn't stop.
I made the mistake and went into the building and when I came back out he was in bed again.
So I TT back to 1150pm kept tabs on him. I was close enough to him when the clock hit 12am and he pinged me.

I think I would have been safe because I had a move out ping two days ago that I stopped.
Think he would have ping me the next day.

I noticed that my villagers have been ping like crazy lately. I've had 2 ping in a row. One day off and than another ping to move in
twice.
