Better turnip prices

Does having an upgraded Nooks cranny mean better turnip prices? (400+)

So I found it interesting that all the lovely islands that I have had the privilege of visiting to sell my turnips, they all had upgraded Nook's that sold for (400+)

I am curious to see if anyone has an un-upgraded store that has gotten similar prices

EDIT: It seems there are cases where people have had similar prices with an UN-upgraded nook, so there is still hope c:

My un-upgraded nooks got a 557 turnip price a bit ago after declining for most of the week :O

Interesting! I used the prophet tool and was predicting a large spike but was completely let down lol

I have literally been seeing the opposite so I just wanted to have hope

My nooks isnt upgraded yet and my prices were 533 last week.

According to this doc, a Large Spike doesn't have to be 400+. The highest point in a Large Spike pattern is a pretty wide range of a 2x to a 6x increase, so given an average Sunday Turnip price of 100, a Large Spike could be as small as ~200. Small Spikes maxes out at 2x, so the worst Large Spike and the best Small Spike can have a similar spike price, which definitely feels like a let down, haha.

For example, I have a Large Spike now with 313 according to the calculators and an un-upgraded Nooklings' store.

My guess is that many of the people with the upgraded Nook's are time travelers who used time manipulation to get high turnip prices.
