best way to grind for igb?

The best ways are to use the stalk market or just buying them with tbt.
If you spend all your money on the stalk market, people on here will share their good prices, or you can use sites like turnip.exchange.
There are also people who sell igb for tbt - I believe it’s 1 tbt per 1,000,000 bells?
You used to be able to go to Nook Miles Islands and catch rare bugs, but Nintendo pretty much nerfed this.

turnips are the key! if you're willing to timetravel you can find someone with a good turnip price and then just keep buying inventories of turnips, selling them at their island and then buying more etc. other than that you've just gotta stick to grinding fish/bugs I suppose

on tbt, bells are cheap. if you don't want to buy, the stalk market is a good bet. if you don't want to go online at all, selling fossils is pretty good as well as finding the money rock every day. you can get rich off of doing normal in game things like selling fish, fossils etc, but it is much more work and takes way longer than going online.
As has been mentioned, turnips are the best way in-game. Start out by catching critters, then invest as much as possible into turnips. Use a site like turnipprophet.io to track your prices, so you know when to sell, or use forums/groups to find people with good prices.
Make sure to plant money trees daily, too. IIRC, 10k is statistically the best option.

Here is what I wrote in a similar thread the other day. If not doing turnips, I suggest trying this out

i can never figure out how to hit rocks 8 times to get all the items, even w a hole to keep me from moving

You dig 1 hole? I always go with the 3 holes behind me because you indeed bounce a bit all over the place when hitting rocks :d
You need to dig 2 diagonal holes around the rock.
P = Player
H = Hole
R = Rock
Sometimes only 1 hole is needed if something is in the way, such as a tree, cliff, furniture, or river. (Keeping them diagonal)

Turnips are definitely worth it and use the thread here to see when people have high turnip prices on their island before you sell. Don’t sell for less than 500 per turnip stack

Like loads of people above have said .. turnips .. people are really great on here for sharing their prices so you should be able to sell them for a good profit 
I always make sure I plant money trees, collect coins from rocks and sell the limited amount of fruit I have just to keep my funds up .. never know when you are going to have to give old Nook more money

The shop doesn't give a turnip price on Sundays so unless someone is on a different day, they won't post a turnip price. If you don't TT yourself, you may be able to find someone with a high price due to different time zones. You get two turnip prices each day in your store, one before 12pm and one after if I'm correct.
People will usually post high prices whenever they get one so it's just a case of checking the website at the right time

Honestly, a surprise for me was seeing how much Jail bars sell for. After I was done with the balloon method I sold all the bars I used and I made like 40k a trip. If you hoard a lot of materials like me this is the best way I found naturally
