So i have two villagers in my town i dont want, iv tried ignoring them, making them angry, sending them rubbish? They still wont move. Why cant they get the hint lol
Whats you hilarious ways of getting rid of unwanted villagers? And have any of them worked?

Easiest way is either Time Travelling or investing in amiibo cards. If you don't want to do either, just don't talk or interact with them at all! Keep talking to the villagers you like and eventually they will tell you a rumor that someone is moving out! Hopefully that someone will be the villagers you want to leave!

amiibo cards have saved my life lol

but before those existed, i had to becomes best friends with them until they loved me so much they wanted to leave
hitting them and neglecting them never worked for me

Thanks for the tips guys, i guess ill have to become best friends with them haha

to be honest, i think the tactic of 'talk to them once the day they move in and then don't talk to them again' works rather well, in my experience. you need to have spoken to them once, but you needn't be great friends with them. you just have to know from the get-go that you're gonna be moving the villager out, yunno.

Use Amiibo cards if you have them. However, if you don't, the LAST thing you want to do is ignore them. If you ignore a villager for more than a week or so, they'll never ping you. You'll need to talk to them to clear out their "I haven't seen you in forever!" message, which is just plain counterproductive.

Be their best friend. Then they'll eventually move, seeing as their "work" in the town is done. However, remember the most recent villager to move in will never be the one to move out. You have to squeak someone in before they'll move. Also, remember villagers with duplicate personality types in the town are more likely to move. If you have one lazy and three normals, the normals will try and move more frequently.

agreed. ignoring didn't work at all when I was trying to move out Katt. But in my experience, animals that I'm the closest with are the ones that try to move most often. Just a personal observation.

Definitely don't ignore them...i've had 2 of my most hated villagers ping me to move out recently and I was like "k bye" or whatever the option was and both of them said "well now i'll stay until you realize how awesome I am" or something like that and I was like oh great.... I think investing in amiibo cards are definitely worth it but I understand why some people wouldn't want to but it really is nice to kick out whoever you want.

If you can't get amiibo cards, time traveling the best way for me. Usually during long periods of time there is a high chance the villager will move.

But just plain up ignoring them has worked for me many times. >.< get outta here al!
