Hello, I remember selling NMT for 200/250k IGB each, is it still a thing?
I recently got back into NH and I don't like my current layout at all, so I wanted to redesign my island a little bit, but I'm short on bells...
Do you know an efficient way of earning some of it pretty quickly?
Thanks!

There's not really a market for NMTs on this forum but you might be able to have better luck on other trading platforms. Facebook, Reddit, Discord servers, Nookazon, etc. There's a few shops that you can buy IGB with TBT.

this is a good one if u time travel and know someone else with the game

me and my sister time travel a lot so when one of us has high turnip prices the other goes forward to sunday and we constantly go back and forth between eachothers islands buying and selling the turnips

u'll get like 2million bells every 5 mins

There was like maybe for the first 3 months from the release date. Market has changed and NMT are dirt cheap here. The last average number I saw a few months ago was 10k IGB for 1NMT when you did the conversion to TBT and it's probably less than that now. 10TBT can be worth over 10mil IGB

Sweet, do you know where to sell TBT for IGB?

You could always trade TBT for IGB, that's what I've done before to have a stock of money for things I don't want to grind for like relocating houses.

Otherwise, I'd say the turnip market! It's also pretty easy to make a decent amount (20k igb to 50k igb) from grinding for undersea creatures for a bit. I also like to sell bugs to Flickr, you can stock up on some from the mystery islands and keep them in storage.

Here's a few ways that I use to make Bells:

- Sell Hot Items of items that have reasonable material costs. I tend to favour things that use iron, clay and stone.
Alternatively, some of the holiday items sell for a good amount. Spooky Carriage is one of them, though a bit costly to make.

- If you have a lot of purple pansies and blue roses, you can sell the purple pansy wreaths and blue rose wreaths.
They sell for 4,800 Bells and 20,000 Bells respectively. You can do this every 3 days, it adds up.

And this has its risk, but I buy 2,000 Turnips each week. I don't really wait for super high prices, I basically sell whenever I see at least a 40% profit margin. Bought for 95, sold for at least 133. Etc.

if you're fine with tt I recommend looking out for someone with good turnip prices (they don't need to be outstanding, leave the really good ones for people who are "legitimately" counting on the stalk market), tting back to sunday morning and buying as much as you can then selling at their island :)

I have two main ways of earning bells now:
  • Stalk Market: my S/O and I buy a full inventory's worth of turnips (4,000) almost every Sunday each. We aren't picky about selling prices (anything higher than the purchase price in the worst-case scenario where both of us have decreasing prices).
  • Selling Gold Rose Crowns: I sell 20 of them every three days to make 240,000 bells each time.
I used to go diving in the evenings because it was the one activity that didn't require crafting tools. One trip of a full pocket's worth of sea creatures earned me anywhere from 20,000-50,000 bells.

Stalk market is the easiest way to go with the least amount of effort imo.

If I was in a desperate need of bells, I'll check reddit for anyone who has T&T buying for at least 500, then I would TT to a sunday and buy the turnips while I wait for my turn.

I usually earn around 2.4 million w/ a full pocket of turnips, and sometimes I would go back to my island, buy some more turnips, and do a second or even a third trip.

I made my fortune by abusing the hell out of online turnip sales. Your best bet is to find someone on the other side of the world for whom Daisy Mae isn't in town (or just someone who has time-traveled to a different day, that's fine too) and just made 20 to 30 trips to sell as many turnips as you can. It's long but it's worth it!

Easiest way is to trade tbt for IGB as others have said.

Other than that...
I once earned around 3 million bells in the span of 45 minutes from the turnip.exchange website. I first searched for islands who were selling turnips for a price under 110 bells each, and then searched for islands who were buying turnips for 500+ bells each (or 400+ is ok too).

I don't buy and sell turnips anymore, but to maintain around 3-5 million bells in my bank account, I collect rare butterflies/bugs and fish I randomly catch during everyday gameplay, store them in my house, and then sell them all to CJ and Flick once every week or once every two weeks. I usually earn between 500-800K per NPC.

As a last resort, you could try farming tarantulas/scorpions on a mystery island, but I would not recommend this because it would take me around 2 hours to get an inventory full of tarantulas (they sometimes take a while to spawn) that I would then sell to Nook's for only 300-400K. Perhaps if Flick is in town it would be worth it, but for me its too much effort, especially with the stalk market (turnips) around.

My recommendation is to buy and sell turnips. The Warp World discord server has a channel for turnip prices and it’s pretty active, with 400+ prices pretty much all the time. Another thing to do would be just purchase IGB for TBT on here— there are a lot of really friendly folks who will sell it at a great rate. For quick bells, diving usually brings in 40-50k per inventory of creatures.

If you haven’t found it already, I know one shop that’s selling 12 mil IGB for only 9 TBT!

Another way that I haven’t seen mentioned here already is island hopping for the money rock islands, tarantula/scorpion islands, and the other fruit islands, it’s a little time consuming and burns up NMT though (and I think it requires an empty plot, I’m not sure though). As I once made 40 or so hops and only made about 600-700k from it. Another way is to sell your fruit on someone else’s island, you can make a good 20-50k from it depending on how much fruit you have.

Thank you so much all of you for your help!
I sold my TBT but I'm still looking to earn more, I'll try your methods :)
