Best pwp's for a city vibe

I've started a second town. My first one is a Zen style town so I'm wanting my second one to be like a city. Best pwp's for this? Maybe some villager suggestions too

Also if anyone is good at patterns, I'm wanting a Welsh flag pattern :') I can pay >.<

Hm, the first things I think of are the The caf?, reset center, and modern police station? + all of the "modern" items and the garbage can, The Bus Stop, Pile of pipes, Park Clock, Street Lamp, and some things like the street signs, illuminated sculptures and the video screen?

If it's a city I'd go for more modern themed PWPs; maybe still have a small natural park off to the side somewhere though?
Stone paths with cobblestone or modern bridges would probably look nice.

As for villagers maybe look for ones whose houses fit in a city theme or are pretty modern looking; here's a list of villagers + their houses!

Ooh, from looking at the house list, maybe Penelope, Alli, Francine, Monique, Olivia, Portia, Tiffany, Cherry, Big Top, Boomer, Cube, Moose, Ribbot, Apollo, Fang, Lobo, Colton, Julian, or Marshal.

I chose most of those bc their houses were modern/box exterior, or their house was a silver color, or they just seemed to fit with the city theme. EX. I think the snooty villagers like Francine, Monique, and Olivia are perfect city folk. Also Colton o:

the modern pwp projects, such as the bridge, lamp, bench, etc...
i also recommend a black and white path that is gray-ish. my town is modern themed but my paths are dark. i just like the dark paths because it fits nicely with my zen part of the town. the illuminated sculptures are definitely a great choice to use, since they are bright. the video screen is also good.
