Best Plot Placement Without Resetting?

i was actually plot resetting for Flora today, and it took pretty long so i decided to watch a movie while plot resetting. at one point i wasnt really paying attention to my game (kind of just mashing the A button while staring at the TV) and i looked down and saw my mayor instead of rover.

i was silently panicking just thinking "oh god oh man i fricked up so bad where is she oh my god"

Spoiler: low and behold

it's the exact spot phoebe used to be before she moved out

it was quite the experience. it made the movie i was watching more enjoyable. ;-;

so yea, care to share a similar experience? ​

Once I was plot resetting for Julian, expecting to be going for at least an hour at best, but when I started up a new character I saw Julian perfectly lined up with Beau only a few spaces away. It's not where I had originally planned to put him, but I kept him there anyway.

Wow! you're super lucky!

I've never exactly had an experience like this, tbh. I'm never really too lucky when it comes to plot resetting.
But once I started up my mayor account when I was plot resetting for Fauna, and she was right next to my bridge.. and I was so upset. ;n;

However today it only took 2 plot resets to get Fang into the perfect spot which is sort of lucky!

wow, that luck! Well for me it was Coco & Diana, (I accidentally entered mayor while plot resetting for BOTH on separate occasions) and their houses surprisingly ended up in pretty decent places ! ^~^ <333

Diana ended up 2 spaces away from Bam hehe

;w; Whoaa such a lucky plot placement, I'm jealous haha! The only similar story I have to that was when I picked up Cesar on streetpass e_e;; I was completely unaware he moved in until a villager told me about a new plot, and I was like "what WHERE IS THIS THING". Luckily he moved in the exact spot as the villager who last moved out. T^T I was thankful he didn't kill any of my hybrids at least. OTL but in terms of resetting for plot placements I'm never that lucky xD

The fact that Baabara was one of my first villagers, which means her house just naturaly ended up in some random place back when I didnt even have paths planned, and then Muffy moved in PERFECTLY next to her, just like Flora did in your town (I even put a Perfect Apple tree inbetween them, almost like you! I also put two bushes, one of front and one behind the tree, its a really cute set up). has to be one of the best things that have ever happened in my town, they are even the same species and everything! (I see them now as sisters and everything)

At this point in time, those two and Bones (Who was an actual original initial villager in my town since day 1) are my only current villagers I didnt plot-reset for.

A new villager was supposed to move in the other day, but I forgot to new save. So, I load up the game and remember, freak out, and it turns out to be my favorite villager in the perfect spot.

When I got Marcie, she moved in the best spot ever. I forgot to click rover.
I must remember to plot reset with Pashmina, wish me luck!

I've been plot setting Rowan for the last like 4 hours- he's gone near where I've wanted him to only once and of course he was off by a couple of spaces. I'd have kept it but it would have ruined have my town's placement, lol.
