Best Place to Put Campsite?

I've been holding off on building my campsite for a while bc I can't decide on a definite place where I want to put it, and I want to make sure where I end up putting it is somewhere I won't regret. (bc I've done this before LOL) So I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind giving their opinion on where they think my campsite might look nice? Hopefully my map can give a good idea since I can't actually show my whole town. Thank you!

Well normally for me I like to put my campsite on the little strip at the top above the river because it keeps it out of the way but since you already have a house there I think it would look nice maybe at the bottom of your map below the villager's house that is all the way to the left; closest to the river.

That house is actually just a placeholder to keep villagers from moving there, since for some reason they really liked to try to! So I shut them off haha. I actually considered that too, I just don't really like the idea of having anything near the tracks tbh so I'm not sure about it, but your idea of putting it at the bottom is a good one!

When I decide on where to put the campsite, I first think about ..."Do I want cedar trees near the campsite or not?"

If I do want Cedar trees, I place the campsite on the north side of the map.
If I have another plan that goes with the theme of the town, then I can place the map anywhere.

I like the placeholder house campsite placement. There is a lot of room around there from the looks of it, and it kind of blends with the string of villagers on the south side of the map. It's a nice map. Take some time! Good luck!
